
Ingredients
225g semi-sweet chocolate
1/4 cup unsalted butter
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, room temp
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Step 1
Combine chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave 25 seconds at a time, mixing in between, until melted and smooth.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, combine sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Mix on high speed for 3 minutes. Add melted chocolate and gently mix until combined.
Step 3
Sift in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Mix until just combined. Add in chocolate chips and mix until incorporated. Chill the dough for 30 mins.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 350F. Scoop roughly 1/4 cup or 60 grams of dough. Lightly dust your hands with powdered sugar to avoid sticking and roll your dough balls. Place on two parchment-lined baking sheets.
Step 5
Bake for 15 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool fully and enjoy!
