Ingredients
1 pound extra lean ground beef
1/2 medium onion, chopped
2 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
3 cups beef broth
1 cup uncooked pasta
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
1/4 cup milk
1 cup fresh spinach
Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
Step 1
In a large pot, add the beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks, about 7 minutes. Add the onions and cook until translucent, about 2 minutes.
Step 2
Stir in the tomato paste, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and chili powder, and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add Worcestershire sauce and beef broth, then increase the heat. Once it starts boiling, add in the pasta.
Step 3
Allow the pasta to cook on medium heat for 13 minutes, uncovered, stirring every few minutes.
Step 4
Once the pasta is cooked, remove from the heat and stir in the grated cheese and milk. Now add in your spinach. Mix well and season to taste with salt & pepper.
Step 5
Let the pot sit for 5 minutes, allowing the flavours to meld together. Serve and enjoy!
Note: This recipe is great for leftovers—consider doubling the batch, as it stores well and tastes even better the next day!
