Chia Berry Jam

Ingredients

  • 2 cups seasonal berries

  • 3 tbsp chia seeds*

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, or lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp local honey, or maple syrup

Instructions

Step 1

Heat the fruit in a small saucepan on medium-high heat. Stir occasionally, until the fruit begins to break down.


Step 2

Allow the berries to cook for 10 minutes until the desired consistency is reached.


Step 3

Add the apple cider vinegar or lemon juice and honey or maple syrup.


Step 4

Remove from heat. Add chia seeds and mix until well combined.


Step 5

Transfer to a container, serve and enjoy!

Note: Store in a container in the fridge for up to one week.
