Orange Posset

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of heavy cream

  • 5 oranges

  • 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

Step 1

Slice the oranges in half crosswise. Juice the oranges. Remove the flesh from the inside of the orange and set aside. Zest the extra orange and set aside.


Step 2

Place a saucepan over medium heat and add the heavy cream and sugar. Whisk until the sugar dissolves. Reduce to medium-low heat and bring the mixture to a slow simmer.


Step 3

Off heat add 3 tbsp of the orange juice and zest from one orange.


Step 4

Pour the liquid into the orange shells and refrigerate for 2 hours until set.


Step 5

Serve and enjoy!
